The President of Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology Engr. Mohamed Ahmed participated in the 1st Cooperation of Arab Universities event, which was organized by the Arab University Association’s Institutions of Education, Science, and Culture (AELCSO). This significant gathering took place in Tunis on October 17 – 18, 2023, The meeting included 37 universities from different parts of the Arab world. During this event, Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology set its commitment to collaboration by signing memorandums of understanding with three prominent universities: the University of Jordan in Jordan, Al-Wadi University in Algeria, and the University of Nouakchott in Mauritania. These agreements lay the foundation for future cooperative endeavors in research, as well as faculty and student exchange programs.

Furthermore, the meeting provided a valuable platform for universities to exchange insights and experiences. Leaders and representatives from these institutions engaged in discussions on how to foster cooperation and facilitate meaningful partnerships. The focus extended beyond formal agreements to explore collaborative opportunities in research initiatives and educational exchanges, reflecting a commitment to advancing the academic landscape and promoting knowledge sharing within the Arab university community.
