A high-level delegation from Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology (JUST), led by the University President Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud, was warmly received by the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) in India. Accompanying him were Dr. Abdirizak Warsame Abdulle, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science.

During the visit, JUST and CGC officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering strong academic collaboration. The agreement outlines key areas of cooperation including:

• Joint academic and scientific research

• Student and faculty exchange programs

• Innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives

• Institutional development strategies

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions. CGC was represented by Prof. Dr. Anish Gupta, Director of Education, and Mr. Asimjot Singh Chahal, Head of the International Relations Office.

In addition to the signing, the JUST delegation held a series of productive meetings with CGC leadership, faculty deans, and heads of various academic centers. These discussions laid a strong foundation for the practical implementation of the MoU and for future collaborative ventures.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in JUST’s mission to expand global academic networks and elevate the quality of education and research.
